13 Starbucks Drinks Being Retired – Find Out Which Ones

Starbucks fans, brace yourselves—big changes are coming to the menu on March 4th. The coffee giant is clearing out 13 drinks in an effort to simplify operations, improve efficiency, and enhance quality. This menu overhaul is just the beginning, with Starbucks aiming to trim down approximately 30% of its U.S. menu by September.

Some of the beloved drinks getting the boot include the Iced Matcha Lemonade, Espresso Frappuccino, Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino, and White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino. But fear not, Starbucks is providing alternative options for each discontinued drink. For example, the Iced Matcha Lemonade can be swapped for a Green Tea Lemonade for a similar flavor profile.

In addition to the menu changes, Starbucks is bringing back the condiment bar that disappeared during the pandemic, allowing customers to customize their drinks to their liking. Plus, free refills are back for customers who choose to stay and enjoy their beverage in-store.

These changes seem to be an effort to make Starbucks feel more like a traditional coffee shop, emphasizing a cozy, sit-down atmosphere rather than just a quick pit stop for caffeine. Whether these changes will be well-received remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure—your usual Starbucks order might look a little different next month.
