Las Vegas, NV – The 2025 Joe Weider’s Olympia Fitness and Performance Weekend concluded in spectacular fashion at the Resorts World Theater, where fitness enthusiasts gathered to witness the crowning of champions in several competitive categories. The highlight of the event was the fiercely contested Mr. Olympia Men’s Open title, ultimately claimed by Derek Lunsford in a night filled with breathtaking performances and electrifying anticipation.

Derek Lunsford Crowned Mr. Olympia Once Again

As the prejudging wrapped up, the atmosphere intensified with top contenders Derek Lunsford, Hadi Choopan, Samson Dauda, and Andrew Jacked highlighted in the final callout by head judge Steve Weinberger. With Jacked notably absent from the center during the comparisons, many were convinced that Lunsford would reclaim the title he first won last year.

Throughout the evening, the tension among fans mounted as the four athletes showcased their physiques under the bright lights. Lunsford and Choopan consistently held their ground in the center of the stage. In an exciting twist, Choopan took home the People’s Champion award, heightening the drama surrounding the main event.

Amidst gasps and cheers from the audience, Lunsford was finally revealed as the victor, earning the prestigious Sandow Trophy and a handsome prize of $600,000. With this victory, Lunsford made history as the first athlete since Jay Cutler in 2009 to regain the Mr. Olympia title after losing it on stage.

Ramon Dino Is The New King Of Classic Physique

In the highly coveted Classic Physique category, Ramon Dino emerged as the champion, taking the title that had been vacant since the previous year. Facing off against tough competition from past silver medalists Mike Sommerfeld and Terrence Ruffin, Dino showed remarkable poise and artistry, particularly during the finals where the three men underwent several rounds of comparisons.

The judges unanimously agreed that Dino’s day had come, and he took home not only the title but also a cash prize of $100,000, marking his place as the fourth champion in the division’s decade-long legacy.

Ryan Terry Wins His Third Men’s Physique Title

In the thrilling Men’s Physique division, two-time reigning champion Ryan Terry successfully defended his title, fending off strong competition from former champions Brandon Hendrickson and Erin Banks, as well as Arnold Classic winner Ali Bilal. The contest came down to a tense showdown between Terry and Bilal, with anticipation building around who would leave Vegas with the gold.

Fans erupted with joy when Terry’s name was announced as the winner, marking him as the first athlete since Jeremy Buendia to achieve a three-peat in this category, solidifying his legendary status in body-building history.
