Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Kartik shared that preparing for the role was a challenging experience that pushed him out of his comfort zone. He revealed that he had to bid farewell to all his favorite foods like wheat, rice, sweets, chocolates, ice cream, burgers, and pizza for over a year. The actor stated that he had no cheat days and followed a strict regimen of soups, fruits, cauliflower rice, beans, salads, and tofu.
