In a bid to prioritize the health and well-being of its workforce, 9 Payment Service Bank (9PSB) has launched an initiative to promote health awareness among its employees. This initiative was recently unveiled during a webinar session titled, ‘My Health, My Right,’ organized by the bank to commemorate the global public health week with the theme ‘Fostering Peace as a Prerequisite for Equitable Health’.
During the webinar session, a health expert from AXA Mansard wellness team provided insights on the importance of maintaining good health through regular exercise, proper diet, sufficient rest, and the avoidance of harmful substances. The focus was on improving life expectancy and overall quality of life for employees to enhance workplace productivity.
The Chief Executive Officer of 9PSB, Branka Mracajac, emphasized the significance of health in achieving a balanced life and high workplace productivity. She stressed that good health is essential and non-negotiable, and it is determined by individuals’ daily choices and intentional efforts towards desired outcomes.
Mracajac also highlighted the company’s commitment to its employees’ health, mentioning that all staff members are covered by health insurance in partnership with a designated Health Management Organisation (HMO). She underlined the need for self-discipline in daily lives to avoid poor lifestyles that can negatively impact health.
As part of the health week activities, all staff members participated in a collective 42-minute walk to emphasize the importance of regular physical exercise. This initiative aims to enhance mental alertness, cardiovascular health, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension among employees.
The focus on promoting health awareness among the workforce reflects 9PSB’s dedication to the well-being of its employees and underscores the importance of prioritizing health for increased workplace productivity. By fostering a culture of health and wellness, the bank aims to create a conducive working environment that supports employee morale and overall performance.
